Yango Driver’s Verbal Abuse: Unacceptable Experience

I recently booked a ride with Yango, but I didn’t have cash on hand. I politely asked the driver if he accepted online payments. He responded, “Cash nahi hai?” I said no and offered to transfer the amount, asking for his number. I made the transfer but didn’t confirm with him immediately if he had received it.

As the ride ended and I was about to leave, he asked about the payment. I told him I had transferred it, but due to possible network issues, the confirmation message might be delayed. Instead of handling it calmly, he started shouting, demanding his money aggressively. I remained composed and assured him that if the transfer hadn’t gone through, I would pay him in cash.

That’s when things took an ugly turn. He insulted me, saying things like, “Tum sab aisay hi hotay ho—2 number! Paisay hote nahi, lekin gari mein charh jati ho! Ran*i kahin ki!” At that moment, my blood boiled. No one has the right to humiliate someone like that. Out of sheer frustration, I refused to pay in cash and walked away.

Instead of letting it go, he followed me to my building, standing at the door and hurling disgusting insults at me. I didn’t engage, but the public humiliation was unbearable. When I reported this unacceptable behavior to Yango through their app, their response was to my disbelief a mere discount code.

Really, Yango? Is this how little you value your customers’ dignity? I use your service daily, multiple times, yet when I faced outright verbal abuse from one of your drivers, all I got was a discount. You need to do better. Start by hiring professional drivers who understand that customers are human beings and deserve respect. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and if it isn’t addressed properly, it raises serious concerns about the safety and standards of your service.

X Milano Order Mix-Up: No Response, No Resolution

Extremely disappointed with X Milano!

I had ordered two suits (Order#209540), from X Milano, one extra-large and the other medium-sized. However, when I received my order yesterday, I was surprised to find that both suits were extra-large, instead of one being medium-sized as requested.

Despite my attempts to contact X Milano via calls and email, I haven’t received any response. This is extremely unprofessional, especially since I had placed the order for my brother.

I’m disappointed that my brother won’t receive his Eid suit on time. Given my experience, I would advise others to avoid ordering from X Milano during this festive season to save their money.

Paradox London: Overpriced at Mall vs. Online Discount

Why is the same product priced differently at the mall and online?

Today, I went to Paradox London at Dolmen Mall, Karachi. The first thing I noticed was that the saleslady was talking excessively and trying to forcefully sell items by claiming that they would give me an extra discoun. Anyway, I purchased a sandal there for Rs. 16,799, but as soon as I reached home and checked the price on their official website, it was listed as Rs. 14,249. The lady said she gave me a discount on an already discounted item, but she didn’t. It was such a confusing experience.

Vestidos Studios Scam: Overpriced & Poor Quality Custom Orders

I ordered a dress from Vestidos_Studios (Instagram) on March 8th for 10K, with 2K advance and the remaining 8k on delivery. The original design featured embroidered sleeves and a dupatta border, but since they take custom orders, I requested a farshi shalwar instead of a regular one, providing exact measurements.

However, what I received today is a cheaply made dress with poor lacework, unfinished borders, and hanging pearls. The fabric quality is terrible, and the size isn’t customized—it’s their standard size (chest 19.5-20 instead of 22). The promised chiffon dupatta is actually a stiff tissue net.

When I contacted them, they refused responsibility, claiming “custom orders can’t be refunded” despite no actual customization. Their response to the lace mess-up? “Ma’am, silai nhin honi thi?”

This dress isn’t even worth 3K, let alone 10K. Beware of such scammers! Don’t be misled by their 121K followers over Instagram and positive mentions—they don’t deliver what they advertise. Probably the first time I ordered from a non-brand and all I can say is: Lesson learned.

P.S. Do report their page on Instagram for scams/fraud. This time, it was me being naive, hoping a non-brand would provide a brand-level quality/service. Next time, it could be someone else. And no one deserves to lose their hard-earned money this way.

Can someone guide me now on how to exchange these products from them and tag Body Shop here?
